Save OUR Teachers campaign ends tomorrow!

We have the Save OUR Teacher Campaign going for one more day. As of this weekend, we had over 570 donors donating or pledging almost $192,000. After tallying today's donations, we have just broken $200,000! This amount plus the money from emptying our coffers and our additional pledge of $100,000 will allow BISD to recall 5 teachers. Of the 17 teachers we were trying to recall, all but 2 have been reinstated because of your donations, and retirements and leaves of absence. This is an outstanding result! Thank you all for your grass roots efforts to make this possible! You are all wonderful.
